Windows For Rainham Homes

Replacing your windows is one of the most impactful upgrades you can make to a home. Improve thermal efficiency, reduce noise and refresh the look of your property from the outside in.

Rainham is a largely residential area with a mix of post-war semis and terraces, interwar housing and more recent new build developments – particularly around the Rainham and Beam Park regeneration zones. It’s an area in transition, with growing investment from homeowners and developers alike, and glazing requirements that span from standard replacement windows to more considered upgrades on extended and improved properties.

DDG Windows offers a wide range of frame materials and styles to suit every type of property. Our team can guide you in choosing the perfect option for your home, balancing style, performance and budget.

Aluminium Windows

Slim profiles, excellent strength and a broad choice of RAL colours. Aluminium windows are the go-to for homeowners who want a premium finish that lasts. Available in casement, bay, picture, tilt & turn, shaped, and gable frames.

Aluminium is an increasingly popular upgrade on Rainham’s extended and improved properties, where homeowners investing in long-term improvements want a finish that stands out from the standard uPVC installations found across much of the area.

uPVC Windows

A practical, cost-effective choice that doesn’t compromise on performance. Available in a wide range of styles, colours and finishes – from square and rectangular to arched and circular frames – with each and every window can be tailored to your exact measurements.

uPVC is the most common window choice across Rainham’s post-war and interwar housing stock, and for most standard replacement jobs it remains the most practical and cost-effective option. Made to your exact measurements at our Dagenham factory, with fast turnaround given our proximity to the area.

Heritage Windows

Our heritage windows capture the look of traditional steel designs using modern materials by delivering the same timeless aesthetic with far better thermal performance and security.

For the older properties around Rainham village and any period homes in the area, our heritage window range offers a bespoke solution that preserves original character while upgrading thermal performance and security. Made to order in any size and colour.

uPVC Doors

A reliable, low-maintenance option that performs well on both security and insulation. Available in a range of styles, finishes, and colours to suit all property types.

The default choice across much of Rainham’s housing stock – practical, low maintenance and very competitively priced given the proximity of our Dagenham manufacturing site. Available in a wide range of panel styles to suit any property type.

GRP Composite Doors

Our GRP composite doors offer the look of a solid timber door without the warping, swelling or repainting that comes with real wood. The outer skin is moulded from glass reinforced plastic, giving it exceptional durability and a finish that holds its colour and texture year after year.

A popular and cost-effective front door upgrade across Rainham, where the composite range delivers a significant improvement to kerb appeal without the maintenance commitment of real timber.

Roof Lanterns & Skylights

A roof lantern is one of the most effective ways to flood a kitchen extension or garden room with natural light. DDG Windows supplies and installs aluminium roof lanterns across Rainham, available in a variety of sizes and glazing options to suit your project and budget.

Our roof lanterns are thermally broken as standard, keeping heat in during winter and reducing solar glare in summer - meaning your new space is comfortable year-round.

Why We Know Rainham
Homes Better Than Anyone

Rainham is practically next door to our Dagenham manufacturing site, and it’s an area we’ve been working in for decades. We’ve seen the area change considerably – from the older housing stock around the village and the post-war estates, through to the new residential developments along the riverfront. We understand what’s here and what’s needed.

Rainham’s regeneration activity has brought new standards to parts of the area, and we’re experienced in working across both the established housing stock and newer developments.

For any property with specific planning or specification requirements, we’ll advise accordingly before any order is placed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Usually within 48 hours. Our Dagenham site is just down the road from Rainham and we can arrange surveys at short notice across RM13.

It depends on the scope of the job and site conditions, but as a general guide our two-man installation teams typically fit three to six windows per day. We'll give you a clearer timeline once we've completed your site survey - for larger Rainham properties with multiple replacement windows or doors, we'll factor that into the schedule upfront.

We'll confirm your style choices, glass spec, opening configurations and colour options, then put everything into a formal order. A deposit is required and a site survey will be booked so we can take accurate measurements before manufacturing begins at our Dagenham facility.

Yes - every aluminium window, UPVC window, door and roof lantern we fit across Rainham is installed by our own fully trained and accredited team. We never subcontract, which means the same standards apply on every job regardless of where in the county you're based.

Yes. The Beam Park development and other new residential schemes in the Rainham area are part of our regular workload. We work with both individual purchasers fitting out their new homes and developers specifying glazing for new build projects. For developer enquiries we can discuss specification, lead times and volume pricing.

Yes. We'll assess existing frames during the site visit and advise on the closest match in terms of profile, colour and configuration. Our bespoke manufacturing means we can produce to non-standard sizes and profiles, which is useful when replacing individual windows rather than a whole house.
